I’m not going to tell you that Faith Week is a one-stop shop for the ultimate discipleship. But scripture says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good.” And that’s something that happens at Faith Week. For one week there’s a lot of tasting going on. There’s a feast of the word and seeing that He is good. There’s something instilled in one week. When truth is instilled, the Holy Spirit does His job to bring forth fruitfulness. And that is a great investment into any young person. This week is worth looking at your summer schedule and budget and saying, “Well, we got this and we got this but we need to invest the kingdom of God into our kids.” Parents, it’s worth the investment into the life of your student.
I remember when I went through a time in my life while growing where I was hearing about Jesus week in and weekout,in Sunday school, listening to the sermon on Sunday and everything. But I came to the point where I had to ask hard questions. God isn’t scared of the hard questions. I asked, “God if you’re really real and you exist prove it to me.” God not only answered that question but heavily prove His existence and invited into an intimate relationship He wanted to have each and every day. And that is what I’ve experienced. So I invite you to come. You will taste and see that the Lord is good.
